D.C. Children and Youth Investment Trust Corporation Grants Over $1 million to Community Based Organizations for Summer Programming
WASHINGTON -  The DC Children and Youth Investment Trust Corporation (the Trust) awarded grants to 36 organizations that will provide free enriching summer experiences to youth in the District of Columbia before they return to school. The Trust has awarded grants for this summer totaling $1.2 million, under the One City Summer Initiative through funding provided by the District of Columbia Government.  Read More>

WASHINGTON - The DC Children and Youth Investment Trust Corporation (Trust) announced that the D.C. Opportunity Scholarship Program (OSP) has currently enrolled 1,584 students, including 258 new awardees.  The number of enrolled students may reach as high as 1,808 as more students get placed during the course of the school year. Washington, D.C. -- The board of the DC Children and Youth Investment Trust Corporation has named Ellen London its new president and CEO. Since November 2009, London served as the Trust’s interim president and CEO, following the departure of Millicent Williams to the Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency.  Read more>
