The DC Children and Youth Investment Trust Corporation presented a final report evaluating the success of summer programs in the District and providing helpful lessons for the future on September 27th, 2012.

This event was an opportunity to learn about the importance of high quality summer programming, hear about work undertaken by the One City Summer Planning Initiative to better respond to these realities, and to participate in a lively discussion with agency partners, policy makers and community providers on the lessons learned this year, and opportunities to increase coordination, collaboration and access in the years to come. This event was co-hosted by the Trust, DC Alliance of Youth Advocates and National Summer Learning Association.
